This one-time $100 fee is non-refundable and covers the processing of your application
Workshop Week Tuition
Workshop Week Tuition covers tuition for all workshops held during the 6-day week, skills sign-off, our famous MeasureMat, BetterBirth University bag and housing. Tuition is $1000.
Midwifery Placement (AUS & PUS) Tuition
AUS and PUS clinical placement tuition covers mentoring from our supervising midwives at client visits and births. Tuition for an AUS placement is $200 per week, and $500 per week for a PUS placement.
Housing is included in your tuition for Workshop Week and any clinical placement. There is no tuition discount if you do not stay in our housing.
There is a $250 deposit required to cover damage to the facility and any cleaning you fail to complete before leaving. If there is no damage and you complete the required cleaning, this deposit will be returned to you. This deposit is also required of PUS students (whether you stay in our housing or not) to cover possible damage to the phone we issue to you. If there is no damage to the phone, the deposit will be returned.
You may pay in full upon booking or you may pay $500 upon booking and pay the balance by 30 days before arrival in up to 3 monthly payments.
Application fees are non-refundable. Housing/phone deposits are fully refundable. When we book you for Workshop Week or a clinical placement, it means we are holding that spot for you and are turning away other students who would like to have it. If you cancel, it means we have to try to fill it on short notice and many students are unable to make arrangements so quickly. Therefore, tuition for cancelled clinical placements and Workshop Weeks are refundable at the following rates:
4 or more months in advance are refundable at 100%
3 or more months in advance are refundable at 75%
2 or more months in advance are refundable at 50%
Less than 2 months in advance are non-refundable
