Our Midwives
Midwife means "with woman" and our midwives are just that, meeting women
where they are and helping them achieve wonderful, empowering births.
All BetterBirth, LLC midwives are nationally certified
(Certified Professional Midwives) and licensed by the State of Utah.
Although we have multiple midwives on our staff, only one will be your
midwife. Your midwife will see you for your appointments, take urgent
after hour calls, and attend your delivery. You can count on your
midwife to be there for you. If an unavoidable situation arises where
your midwife is unavailable (such as two clients in labor at the same time),
the midwives do back each other up and one of them will step in to care for
you until your midwife is again available.
Trinette

Trinette Thompson received her midwifery training and graduated from
Midwives College of Utah. She remains active in special projects for
the college and is continuing to pursue an advanced degree. Trinette
is an extraordinarily compassionate and attentive midwife. She lives
in Saratoga Springs with her husband and six children, all homeborn. |
Brigitte

Brigitte Eastman's longstanding interest in childbirth was kindled by the
births of her five children, four of whom were born at home. She
worked for several years as a massage therapist, then as an Emergency
Medical Technician in her hometown of Santaquin while simultaneously
studying midwifery. She graduated from Midwives College of Utah.
She completed her clinical training here at BetterBirth, LLC,
so we are well acquainted with her outstanding skills and tender, loving
nature. |
